3. A website designed to minimise data collection

This website does not set cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or profiling services, and we do not store visitor identifiers in your browser. No automated decision-making takes place on this website.

Personal data is processed in particular to deliver the website and when you provide it to us as part of an enquiry or job application. The applicable rules are the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and supplementary German data protection legislation.

4. Website delivery and hosting by STRATO

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.

When you access our website, the hosting provider processes connection data that is technically necessary. This includes, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, the URL or file requested, the volume of data transferred, the HTTP status code and information about your browser, operating system and, where applicable, the page you previously visited (referrer).

This processing enables us to deliver the website, maintain its stability and security, and detect and prevent attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in these purposes under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. STRATO processes hosting data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

According to STRATO, IP addresses are stored for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks. STRATO anonymises IP addresses or hostnames in the access logs provided to website operators. These logs remain available for up to six weeks.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details, the content of your message and any other information you provide to respond to your enquiry and document the communication. The email and telephone links on this website open the relevant application on your device. We do not use an online contact form.

If your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling your message under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We delete the data once it is no longer required to handle and document your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for safeguarding legal claims require us to retain it. Data that must be retained to comply with a statutory obligation is processed for that purpose under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

6. Job applications

You can apply through our careers page by sending an email to job@hohage.de. We process the information and documents you submit to conduct the recruitment process and decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis is section 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Fonts, images, videos and the customer reviews displayed on this website are loaded from our own webspace. Displaying this content does not establish a connection to Google, a review service or an external font provider.

Right to object: Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Our website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS. We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and manipulation. However, data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be entirely risk-free.
